ICON by Voltaic is designed as a building-integrated solar roof system that replaces traditional concrete tiles with solar-enabled tiles of a similar aesthetic. The result is a unified roof surface without exposed panels or mounting racks. Because the solar cells are embedded flush into the tile design, the visual impact is minimal, preserving clean lines, uniform color, and the architectural character of your home. ICON gives you solar capability without the “solar-on-top” look.

Yes. Concrete tiles paired with ICON’s vented counter-batten system reduce roof heat load, helping your home stay 35–40% cooler, and reducing A/C usage — your #1 energy cost.

Yes. According to Forbes and NREL, homes with integrated solar systems: Sell 20% faster Gain 20x home value per $1 saved on electricity Improve curb appeal dramatically

We use aerial imagery, sun modeling, and your energy history to optimize where each solar tile is placed for both performance and aesthetics.

Yes. ICON is compatible with battery storage systems and EV charging, and we’ll help you design a full energy solution if desired.

ICON is modular. Let us know your long-term energy goals, and we can leave expansion zones or add more tiles during a future upgrade.

Most insurance carriers cover ICON like any other premium roof. In many cases, insurance premiums may decrease due to fire and storm ratings.

Yes. You’ll have access to a mobile dashboard showing daily production, lifetime savings, and system health alerts.

If you want a solar roof that reads like concrete tile architecture, VOLTAIC's core positioning is: roof-first concrete tile system with solar integrated into the roof plane, designed for clean rooflines and demanding code environments. Where ICON tends to win: Concrete tile look + architectural continuity (no rack-mounted look) Ventilated, warm-climate ready, sealed roof assembly How to compare fairly Compare at the same kW target, same battery goal, same roof replacement scope Learn more ICON overview Testing & certifications See VOLTAIC + Tesla Powerwall integration approach

Your payback and bill savings with ICON depend on your utility rate plan, net metering/export credits, your roof’s solar production, and whether you’re already due for a reroof. Because ICON is a roof replacement with solar integrated into the roof surface, many homeowners evaluate ROI by separating: (1) the roof cost they’d pay anyway from (2) the incremental cost for solar + optional storage. To get a reliable estimate, we recommend:Using 12 months of electric bills and your exact tariff (TOU matters)Reviewing a production model that accounts for orientation and shadingSeeing a bill-impact estimate that reflects export credits and battery strategy (if included)Start here: How ICON works (roof-first approach): https://www.voltaicrooftile.com/voltaic-icon Technology/specs used in modeling: https://www.voltaicrooftile.com/technology Solar tiles vs panels (reroof context): https://www.voltaicrooftile.com/post/integrated-solar-tiles-vs-traditional-solar-panels-what-s-better-for-concrete-roofs Find a certified installer: https://www.voltaicrooftile.com/certified-installers Request a quote: https://www.voltaicrooftile.com/contact
